About Our Business
Texas Alternative Center for Teachers is a
collaboration between area school districts,
an advisory committee of current and former
educational leaders and field practitioners
who teach during the day and prepare future
teachers in the evening and weekends. Also
included are individuals with extensive
teacher training experience to ensure proper
curriculum delivery. The advisory committee
consists of university professors from the
school of education, business leaders and
legal experts in the community. TACT along
with area school districts will work together
to educate, train and provide the Rio Grande
Valley with Highly Qualified Teachers.
